About Colossal Contracting
Our Story
Anthony Closson, CEO of Colossal, received his first assignment at Joint Base Andrews as an IT Project Manager, he cemented the foundation of his dream to start Colossal Contracting. At the early formation of his company, he called upon his trusted former wingmen and family to join in his venture. Colossal is proud to have its original foundation “BUILT ON MILITARY CORE VALUES.”
Even as the company has expanded, Colossal has not lost sight of the importance of taking care of their customers personally and specifically. Through dedication to customer service and a commitment to excellence, Colossal continues to build upon the name and reputation it has built in the IT industry. Closson attributes the early success of Colossal to the “Can Do” attitude of his entire team. This attitude is still the expectation for all employees and is believed to be the key to long-term growth and success for Colossal Contracting.

The Senior Airman jason Nathan Award
Honoring Character. Recognizing Excellence. Continuing a Legacy.
Honoring SrA Jason Nathan
Senior Airman Jason Nathan was a United States Air Force Security Forces Airman, a devoted friend, and a true example of selflessness, perseverance, and service.
Jason and Colossal CEO Anthony Closson first met during Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base in 2005 as members of Flight 587. Though quiet by nature, Jason consistently led through his actions. His determination, strength, and commitment to those around him left a lasting impression on everyone who served alongside him.
In June 2007, while deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Jason was killed in action when an improvised explosive device struck his convoy near Tikrit, Iraq. Prior to his death, Jason had been named Airman of the Year and selected for early promotion to Senior Airman. He was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart.
Jason’s legacy of courage, humility, perseverance, and service continues to inspire Colossal today.
